Schmidt Physical Therapy has been in the Claremont and the Upper Valley Area since 1994. Our clinics are conveniently located and tailored to meet the needs of the patient and the referring physician.
We strive for consistent high quality physical therapy services in a timely fashion with standardized documentation and combined functional outcomes.
What sets us apart is that the emphasis of our treatments is on gentle hands-on techniques including massages, specific joint mobilizations and exercises utilizing established functional protocols.
We have access to many treatment options including, but not limited to; massages, specific joint mobilizations, yoga exercises, tai chi exercises, applied functional science protocols, dry needling and medical exercise therapy.
We promote a healthy lifestyle including appropriate utilization of local health clubs and exercises at home during and following our physical therapy regimen.
OUR LOCATIONS
Claremont Office: We are located across from the hospital entrance
on Dunning Street at the back of Valley Regional Primary care.
Hanover Office: We share a space with European Face and
Body Studio located on 70 South Main Street, Hanover NH.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Schmidt Physical Therapy, we try our best to accommodate every patient. We include your input in your treatment approach, we encourage feedback from our patients, and we welcome feedback from referring doctors. Further, we remain in contact with your referring physician for the duration of the treatment to promote your health and recovery.
The emphasis of our approach is to identify and treat the source of your dysfunction with gentle techniques. We do not believe in the "no pain, no gain" approach, and will stop and alter the treatment accordingly if you feel any type of pain. We only believe in rehabilitation in a gentle and painless manner.

At Schmidt Physical Therapy, the safety and wellbeing of our clients and staff is our first priority.
We have changed our policy, following the hospital recommendations and masks are optional. You can request that the clinician who is treating you will wear a mask since we are concerned for our patients or their relatives with compromised health.

If seeking in-person treatment is simply not an option for you due to safety or other concerns, our team can meet with you through the Telerehab portal to discuss your injury, evaluate your condition, or provide guidance and exercises.
